After their first loss in more than two months, FC Dallas are back home this weekend as they look to bounce back and maintain the league’s best overall record.

Dallas’s opponents tonight are the San Jose Earthquakes, who pulled off some more second-half heroics last weekend to tie the Colorado Rapids. It will be the first meeting of the season between last year’s Supporters Shield winners and this season’s early leaders.

Across the border in Montreal, the Impact look to continue their hot start with a win over visiting Philadelphia. The Union bounced back from a 4-1 loss to Los Angeles with a 1-0 win over Chicago last weekend, and they have a great chance to get their first big win of the season.

Here is a rundown of tonight’s MLS action:

7pm- D.C. United vs. Portland Timbers

7 pm- Montreal Impact vs. Philadelphia Union

7:30pm- New England Revolution vs. Toronto FC

8:30pm- FC Dallas vs. San Jose Earthquakes

  1. Whoever complains about soccer being low-scoring should’ve watched that Impact/Philadelphia game. 5-3 and could easily have been more.

  2. Well I guess that no call on a Portland handball evens out for last years game…but still not sure how that wasn’t called.

    • I think he saw it and decided it wasn’t worth a PK.

Besides, I’m not sure anyone from DC could have finished a PK today.
