U.S. Open Cup potential quarterfinal pairings released

A week ahead of the Fourth Round in the 2013 U.S. Open Cup, the potential winners will know where they are next headed.

On Wednesday, U.S. Soccer revealed the draw for the quarterfinals of the competition, set to take place on June 26. Six Major League Soccer stadiums could potentially host a match in the quarterfinals, while a potential D.C. United home match would be played at the Maryland Soccerplex in Boyds, Maryland.

The Charleston Battery of USL-Pro could also potentially host a match in the quarterfinals stage, provided they defeat Real Salt Lake in the fourth round. 12 of the 16 eligible MLS teams remain in the competition heading into the next match day on June 12.

  1. I wish I was in Utah for the RSL v Railhawks game (Im assuming they will both win). That should be a really good game.
