A trip to the Maracana Stadium in Rio De Janeiro and a match against Brazil is what’s waiting for the winner of Thursday’s Confederations Cup semifinal between Spain and Italy.

Cesare Prandelli’s Italian squad is missing forward Mario Balotelli to injury and could be missing midfield maestro Andrea Pirlo as well, which would make the task of defeating the in-form defending World and European champions that much more difficult.

The FIFA Under-20 World Cup continues in Turkey with the U.S. and Ghana needing a win to advance in group A when they meet and Portugal and South Korea hoping to go through in the top two places in Group B.

  3. alright, well Korea didn’t do us any favors and Nigeria didn’t destroy them so Korea ended at 4 pts with 0 GD. we could reallllly use a +4 GD game today….lol

i still think Mali and El Salvador will end up losing though, leaving the door open for the US, assuming we beat Ghana.
