Week 15 in Major League Soccer kicks off with an Eastern Conference special, pitting two teams fighting for a place in the top five.

The Philadelphia Union host the Columbus Crew on Wednesday night at PPL Park as both teams wind down a busy past two weeks. Both teams have played four games in the last 12 days, three coming in MLS competition and the other match coming in the U.S. Open Cup, which both sides came out of victorious in their respective matches.

The Crew, led by Federico Higuain, sit in seventh place in the Eastern Conference standings with 17 points, but a win against Jack McInerney’s Union would leapfrog them over their Pennsylvania opposition into fifth place, as the Union currently hold 19 points.

The two teams recorded 1-1 draws last Saturday, with McInerney scoring the equalizer against Toronto FC in the 90th minute of the match for his tenth goal of the season, and Higuain scoring his side’s equalizer with a 69th minute penalty kick.
