A pair of mid-week matches kick off MLS Week 21, including a match that could signal Carlos Bocanegra’s return to Major League Soccer.

Bocanegra and Chivas USA take on Toronto FC tonight at StubHub Center, and while it is unclear whether Bocanegra will start, he is available for the match, and therefore could make his debut for the Goats.

The evening’s early match features a pair of overachieving teams squaring off in the Rocky Mountains as the Colorado Rapids take on the New England Revolution. Both teams are currently in sixth place in their respective conferences, and a win for either could help them close the gap on a playoff spot.

If you will be watching either of tonight’s matches, or both, please feel free to share your thoughts, opinions and some play-by-play in the comments section below.

Enjoy the action.

  1. If Toronto FC can’t beat a 10-man Chivas, are they really an MLS team? Should Cohiba Don just have them forfeit the rest of their games? Or maybe invite an NASL All-Star Team to take TFC’s place for the rest of the season?

  2. Boca’s return has elevated the odds of me staying up for a Chivad/TFC game from 0.0% to 0.1%.

Excited for this Colorado/NE game, tho.
