Must-See Goal: Antoine Griezmann

FOOTBALL : Lyon vs Real Sociedad - Ligue des champions - 20/08/2013

When I saw that last night at halftime of the Houston Dynamo game it brought me out of my chair. Thrilling move from start to incredible finish.

Wow, puts Giles Barnes’ goal to shame. One of the best overhead kicks you will see. Is the guy naturally left footed? I never heard of him before.

    • The Imperative Voice

Side volley. I’d say it was tougher than Bruin’s side volley but Barnes’ roofing of the ball in the box and his distance drive were pretty exceptional in their own types.

wiki says that his usual position is left wing. doesn’t mean he’s definitely left-footed, but there’s a good chance

great goal. a once in a lifetime hit. General rule for “must see goal clips”….if I haven’t heard of the guy it’s usually worth a click – stood true here!.

    • Roman Lewandowski

Yeah, I’m pretty sure he’s considered one of France’s brightest talents.

Gotta love Vela’s vision and pass. Amazing goal. Vela, Chori Castro, Griezmann and Seferovic are one of the best attacking sides in all of Europe. Add to that Esteban Granero and the rest of the young players at Real Sociedad, makes for one very entertaining team to watch. Hoping they make it out of the group stages and stay strong in La Liga.
