Sigi Schmid will have some tough decisions to make when he settles on a starting lineup with all his players healthy, and both Obafemi Martins and Lamar Neagle provided reminders why they should be key players down the stretch for the streaking Sounders.

Martins and Neagle combined to help Seattle dominate Real Salt Lake in last week’s win, and both earned SBI MLS Best XI honors in the process. Rookie defender DeAndre Yedlin joined his teammates on the team.

Columbus Crew teammates Chad Marshall and Federico Higuain earned their spots on this week’s Best XI after spearheading the Crew’s 2-1 victory vs. the Montreal Impact.

Here is the SBI MLS Best XI for Week 30:

    • If he finishes out the season strong, I’d have to think he’d be on the radar for a Jan camp call-up. Here’s hoping JK brings him in!!

  1. Was at the Colorado game (as a Revs fan). They attacked up Klute’s and Sanchez’s side all night long. Sanchez was inspirational to his teammates in that win. David Ferreira circa 2010 stuff.

  2. Hard to believe Sanchez didn’t make the first team. He was easily the best player on the field, maybe the rain delay kept the game from being watched as the DVR’s cut out too early.
