Fantastic show and soccer resource. My go to every day. But…. Ives, the quality of your audio on the last few podcasts has been poor. Garrett’s sound quality is always top shelf. You, however, echo, fade in and out and sound very tinny. I’m not sure what Garrett’s doing, but follow his lead! Overall a minor nit for an outstanding resource. Keep up the great work!

I’d like to hear more about turf. There are other sites where giving the slightest credence to the NYRB claim that a doctor will be completely dismissed and inevitably result in being given a link to that study which shows turf causes no more injuries than grass. Kasey Keller has also dismissed the notion that playing one game at Century Link is any kind of risk. Is the study wrong? Or is aggravating existing injuries a completely different matter?
If the NYRB are being honest about getting advice from a doctor (that would sound a lot better than saying Henry just refuses to play and there’s nothing that can be done) than Seattle is not being fully honest about the impact of turf on their own players. That would be a big story too, and I wish someone would look into it.
