It’s that time again! The major European leagues are disrupted by the international break this weekend, which means World Cup Qualifying takes center stage.

England faces Moldova in UEFA’s Group H, with The Three Lions needing a full three points to keep their World Cup dreams alive.

England trails Montenegro by one point heading into the match, and will be hoping Poland can steal points from Stevan Jovetić and company so they can move into the automatic qualifying spot of Group H.

Group C features the tightest qualifying race in UEFA, with three teams all square on 11 points in the playoff spot.

The Republic of Ireland will attempt to go clear in second place when they meet Sweden in Dublin today. Ireland haven’t qualified for a World Cup since 2002, while Zlatan will try to steer Sweden back to the World Cup after missing out in 2010.

In CONMEBOL, Uruguay will clash with Peru and Colombia will square off with Ecuador.

Uruguay currently sit in the CONMEBOL’s playoff spot, but will hope to pick up maximum points through the rest of their fixtures, and jump either Chile or Ecuador for the last automatic qualifying spot.

  1. Much to my shock, U-Verse has added BeIN Sports as of today, so I will get to watch the US match on my tv, and not some terrible, pirated feed from my laptop.

  2. “…with The Three Lions needing a full three points to keep their World Cup dreams alive” is untrue beyond belief. They are 2 points back of Montenegro for the group lead with a game in hand, with four games left to play, and also the 2nd place teams do a playoff to determine participation in the WC.

  3. Cheers to pirating the USA game…. Any BeIn reps looking for feeds… I will gladly and spitefully be pirating your material because of your desperate attempt to be exclusive.. God I hate Dish… And yes, I am a badass

    • When you have Dish, you miss US away matches. When you miss US away matches, you pirate BeIn material. When you pirate BeIn material, you end up in prison with a cellmate named Bubba. Don’t end up in prison with a cellmate named Bubba. Get DirecTV.
