After a draw with Chelsea and a shocking loss to West Ham United before the internatioanl break, Tottenham Hotspur are looking to grab all three points from a road encounter with Aston Villa on this Soccer Sunday.
Spurs’ road trip to Villa Park will take center stage in England as the only EPL match of the day. Aston Villa are unbeaten in three straight matches and will be looking to avenge last month’s 4-0 loss to Tottenham in the Capital One Cup.
In Italy, Juventus look to move into second place in Serie A with a road victory over Fiorentina. Juve are still unbeaten in their quest for their third straight league title, and a win over the Viola would be a great boost heading into their midweek Champions League clash with Real Madrid.
Later in the day, the United States women’s national team will take on Australia in an international friendly. This will be the first time U.S. head coach Tom Sermanni will face his old Australia team, who he led to the quarterfinals of the last two World Cup tournaments. His new team, the USWNT, heads to the Alamodome in San Antonio on a five-match winning streak in which it has outscored opponents 22-2.

CRUISING
Please hold this mass produced #25 sign in honor of Brian Ching, at our soccer stadium with football lines all over it.
I don’t think Ching would mind if you made your own.
Everyone should have had a different personalized sign in your world? I’m not sure what your problem is.
Not much can be done about the football lines. Part of the deal to get the downtown land for the stadium may have been to let some local college teams play football.
They could have painted over them a little more.
Abby!
imPRESSive Ladies
castillo and arriola starting for tijuana.
garza, corona, and gomez on bench.
Terrence Boyd with a goal today
Anyone know how Alfredo Morales has been doing? It seems pretty clear that Ingolstadt is crap this year, and I know he had some pretty big mistakes in his first match of the season for them. Seems they keep losing without him, though, and he’s still making appearances off the bench.
biff always seems to have the scoop on the Bundesliga(s). Know anything?
Iffy goal guzan.
Aron Johannsson with a nutmeg a$sist.
Johannson with a winning goal and as$ist now.
You can write the word assist now in the comments without worrying about moderation. We made that change months ago.
Johannson with two goals and an as$ist. 3-1 AZ
I think you can say assist now with the revised moderation rules.
