The second day of UEFA Champions League matchday two runs the gamut of soccer on American televisions sets on Wednesday.

Both Manchester United and Real Madrid head into their respective matches with the hopes to bring back some optimism for their clubs, after surprising losses last weekend for each team. Man United dropped a result to West Bromwich Albion while Real Madrid fell to rivals Atletico Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu.

American midfielder Sacha Kljestan will be hoping that his Anderlecht side can right themselves when they host Olympiakos, after Kljestan and co. fell to Benfica two weeks ago, 2-0.

In the evening, two Copa MX matches take place with struggling Atlas visiting Pumas UNAM and a Copa Clasico Regiomontano between Monterrey and Tigres UANL, the 101st meeting between the two rival clubs.

  1. Sounds like Sacha Kljestan is playing extremely well. Drew a penalty and his teammate freaking missed the penalty.

  2. Stonecold penalty not given to Shaktar. Just utter nonsense from the referee.

Hard to make a legitimate argument this crap isn’t fixed.

  3. Man United’s team just looks so static. If only they had a player who was really good at finding space and could read the play.
