  1. I was flipping the channels and came across this game and I at first thought it was a high school game the quality was so bad. Sad that a once great team that I loved to watch as a kid has sunk to this level. Sad, very sad.

    • I wish this was on regualar ESPN and not just ESPN3/deportes

I turned it on at the end, nice celebration ceremony at the end.

Not sure if the game was in NY but if so they shouldve used the red bulls stadium (maybe)

  2. Wow, turned it on right for the goal by Senna. Good goal. It should be noted the camera work is shaky and all over the place, it’s like watching a Paul Greengrass movie.

  3. The MLS All-stars play a European team in their mid-season exhibition. How about an NASL All-star team playing an MLS team?

    • there aren’t traditional minor leagues in soccer. Soccer is not baseball. Here is the big distinction. Lower division clubs in soccer compete with MLS for a trophy (US Open Cup). That doesn’t happen anywhere else in American sports.

But to answer your question. Why shouldn’t I care? If I’m from Atlanta i’m not supposed to support my local club because they aren’t in MLS? That’s a bit elitist isn’t it?

    • David used to be one of those rednecks ranting about how he hates soccer up until he discovered MLS a year ago. Now he just rants about lower divisions.
