For the second time in seven days, Tottenham prepares to face a Manchester side that’s in a strong run of form.

On the back of a 6-0 defeat to Manchester City, Tottenham welcomes Manchester United to White Hart Lane, with Man United coming off a 5-0 rout of their own in UEFA Champions League action on Wednesday. Andre Villas-Boas’ side redeemed itself with a Europa League win on Thursday but with the Portuguese manager on the hot seat, a win against the defending English Premier League champions could go a long way towards him keeping his job.

Barcelona manager Gerardo Martino lost his first official match since taking over this summer as the Catalan club fell to Ajax in the Champions League, 2-1. However, Barcelona is still unbeaten in La Liga but faces a stiff challenge on the road with a trip to the Basque Country to face Athletic Bilbao. Bilbao is in fifth place in the league and has just one loss in its last seven matches.

After losing their lead in Serie A, AS Roma will hope that playing on the road could lower the pressure on their players a little bit with a match at Atalanta, while leaders Juventus host Udinese, which always provides a difficult challenge despite financial difficulties.

In the evening on Saturday and Sunday, the Mexican Apertura playoffs second leg continues, with the stars of the Mexican national team on Club America hoping to progress past Tigres UANL. The aggregate score of that series is currently 2-2.
