The holiday season may be upon us, but that isn’t stopping Major League Soccer from keeping us busy with plenty to discuss on the latest episode of The SBI Show.

Episode 99 takes a look at Clint Dempsey’s loan move to Fulham, and just what it means for him and for the Seattle Sounders.

Co-host Garrett Cleverly and I also discuss the recent moves of Jose Villarreal, Michael Farfan and Rafael Baca to Cruz Azul, with Villarreal’s year-long loan getting extra attention.

We also discuss the recently revealed USMNT All-Time Best XI, we take a peek at the upcoming MLS Draft by discussing the SBI MLS Mock Draft, and we also answer reader questions in the SBI Show Q&A.

Give Episode 99 of The SBI Show a listen after the jump:

What did you think of Episode 99 of The SBI Show? Agree with our take on the Dempsey loan? Think the Galaxy made a mistake loaning out Villarreal?

I’m a Sounders fan and I’m disappointed.. this loan situation was known last year … a lot of fake outrage here..

Not sure how you get “outrage” from my take on Dempsey. The concerns about the move are valid, and as I said on the show, I’m not saying the loan is a mistake, but people who act like there are zero drawbacks to it are being naive.

I’ll save my scorn for the FO.. I can’t exactly blame Clint for taking full advantage of the contract he signed.
