There’s still a few weeks to go before the MAC Hermann Trophy is announced, but the National Soccer Coaches Association of America has revealed its Players of the Year across the rest of collegiate and high school soccer for the 2013 season.

Among the recognizable names earning NSCAA honors are Notre Dame senior midfielder Harrison Shipp and U.S. Under-18 forward Rubio Rubin. Shipp is this year’s College Scholar of the Year, carrying a GPA of 3.88 with a major in business and finance, while Rubin is the Youth Player of the Year. Rubin has spent the past few months playing with the Westside Timbers Soccer Club in his hometown of Beaverton, Ore., in addition to featuring for the U.S. Under-17 and Under-18 National Teams.

The 22 student-athlete winners of NSCAA awards will be recognized at the All-American Luncheon at the annual NSCAA Convention, which takes place this year on Jan. 18 in Philadelphia. It will also run concurrent with the upcoming Major League Soccer SuperDraft.

The MAC Hermann Trophy winners will be announced on Jan. 10 in St. Louis.
