The NCAA announced the locations of the next four College Cup tournaments on Wednesday, and all but one will be played at MLS stadiums.
The sites for the 2014-17 College Cups were revealed on Wednesday afternoon, and next year’s edition in Cary, N.C. will be the lone one in the foreseeable future not played in the home of an MLS team. The following three will be hosted at Sporting Kansas City’s Sporting Park, the Houston Dynamo’s BBVA Compass Stadium and the Philadelphia Union’s PPL Park.
Orlando City, set to join MLS in 2015, will also house a pair of finals once their soccer-specific stadium is built as the 2016 and 2017 women’s Division 1 soccer championships are scheduled to be played in the Central Florida city.
The 2013 College Cup takes place this weekend at PPL Park.

How about acing the Cup in warmer states? Philadelphia was brutal this year! Hoover was great. How about California?

I kind of wish they would reward Universities like U of Louisville who are building awesome new soccer specific stadiums for their team. I know the capacity is smaller but I’m not sure how many people travel to the college cup though.
Not too many people go to the College Cup. Professional stadiums are overkill. Too much empty space. College sites that hold thousands are plenty big enough.
