The 2014 MLS Draft resumes today, with the third and fourth rounds taking place via Conference Call as all 19 teams look to fill out their rosters ahead of training camp.

There is quite of bit of talent still available on the board, particularly among defensive midfielders, as well as some forwards worth a flyer.

SBI will be providing live commentary of the selections, so please feel free to follow the action here.

Enjoy the action (Today’s MLS Draft Commentary is after the jump):

  1. If LA is indeed fielding a USL Pro team as their reserves this year, why would they “PASS”? Seems like they could have taken a flier on someone to sign onto the USL team, and then own his MLS rights in case he tears it up.

  2. Looking to see if Tony Asante (Syracuse – was out with ACL this year) gets drafted, or even if he is being looked at. He is a good fwd – played at Monroe College NYC before Syracuse.

  3. Anyway of knowing how many other geeks are tuned in watching the second day of the draft? (Please God let it not just be me!)
