ORLANDO, Fla. โ€” With one year to go before officially joining Major League Soccer, Orlando City SC unveiled their final USL Pro kit on Saturday afternoon in downtown Orlando.

โ€œI think the 2014 jersey, in my opinion, is probably the best jersey we ever had,โ€ said club President Phil Rawlins. โ€œGreat jersey, great style. I like the two championship cups in the back, I really hope it becomes a popular jersey for our fans.

โ€œTo get hundreds of people to show up shows that this is a great turn out, especially when there are people lining up to buy the jersey. Our front office and Adrian (Heath) did most of the designing.โ€

The Lotto-branded jerseys feature the home kit being predominantly purple with white sleeves, while the away kit is all white with a slash of purple running down the side of the jersey. Changes from last year’s jerseys include the v-neck on both kits, while white silhouettes of Orlandoโ€™s two USL Pro championships are designed in the back collar of the uniform.

Orlando City goalkeepers will sport either an all black, with white slash running down the side or an all red with white on the side.

Orlando Health remains the team’s shirt sponsor, and they will also remain on the front of the uniforms in 2015 once the Lions jump into Major League Soccer.

  1. Why do you keep using “USL Pro” on this site when on every team’s page in the league and the league website has “USL PRO”? Is there reason this keeps being ignored? It’s incorrect and getting kind of annoying.

  2. Better jerseys than MLS teams and good different color ๐Ÿ™‚
MLS need the color of purple, bronze, brown, yellow, grey-silver, and different logos and names.
Weird names in MLS: chicago fire, San Jose quakes, Colorado rapids, fc Dallas, Houston Dynamo, Columbus crew, chivas USA, real salt lake, revolution and red bull.
As a matter of fact, if you have a good name, you have a good logo in MLS ๐Ÿ™‚
How about Chicago red stars, Columbus pioneers, San Jose Bay Area quakes, Colorado gold, Dfw united, Houston apollos, LA united or LA fame, Salt Lake City unity, Boston Irish, New Jersey red bull.

    • Why is it “Stoke City” when the city is just “Stoke-on-Trent”. Why is it “Manchester city” when the city is just “Manchester”. ๐Ÿ™‚ Anyway more than likely it’s because Phill Rawlins is on the board of directors for Stoke “City”

      Take care.

    • Rawlings said that the word “city” was included because he wanted the team to represent the city of orlando and not the tourist area and theme parks. There is the city of Orlando and there is the tourist area…Orlando City Soccer Club belongs to the city

      • That really was a smart move by Rawlins to brand the club City. That helped get the locals and politicos interested in the club.

      • Yeah that’s awesome that he wanted nothing to do with associating them with the parks, you know, like Disney where they will play their home games or Legoland which was a shirt sponsor… Just saying.
It’s not like we need to differentiate from another Orlando based soccer team.
        Poseurs.
