Severe weather in the northern England area is wreaking havoc on Wednesday’s English Premier League schedule, with two games being canceled and one delayed.

Both Manchester City and Everton have canceled and postponed their EPL games, while Stoke City delayed their kickoff 15 minutes due to “traffic issues” around the area.

In a release on their official website, Manchester City said that the game was canceled because they could not guarantee the safety of the supporters who would travel to the stadium. Everton meanwhile said that the weather has caused building damage “which has led to safety concerns.”

According to reports, Manchester is set to be battered by 70 mph winds through the evening as a storm passes through.
