U.S. U-17 Men’s National Team head coach Richie Williams has named his squad for the upcoming Josip Katalinski International Tournament that is set to take place April 3-6 in Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Williams’ squad sees the return of 18 players from last month’s tour of the Pacific Northwest, including regulars Haji Wright and Christian Pulisic. They will be joined by Joe Gallardo and Luca de la Torre, who last played for the team in the Aegean Cup, as well as Daniel Barbir and Weston McKennie, who return for the first time since the 2013 Nike International Friendlies

The U.S. U-17s will open the tournament against the Montenegro U-17 team April 3 before facing off with the Sarajevo Select the following day. The results of those matchups will then determine whether the U.S takes on either the Bosnia U-17 national team, Belgrade Select or the Macedonia U-17 national team on April 6.

Following the tournament, the team will play a pair of friendlies against Croatia on April 8 and 10.

  1. solid lineup. i guess Barbir wasn’t able to stay at City? looks like C. Pulisic is back from his training in Italy as well. really curious to see what happens with Wright. i know he was in Dortmund training but haven’t heard much sense other than LAII is still trying to get him to sign.
