not sure what’s nicer, the pass or the goal. either way, it’s a phenomenal goal all around.

wow…when that man gets good service he’s as dangerous as ever. Wonderful strike.

I was just going to say, Arsenal winning the FA Cup and awesome Dutch goals have me wanting to buy a Bergkamp jersey. My favorite goal of all time is still #2 in this video from FIFA 2006. Black and White Town is a fire jawn as well.

I like Netherlands. Even dating a Dutch woman.
But I’m not super-impressed by this. There was absolutely no defensive pressure on him. Great control, sure, but this was an easy goal for him.

No defensive pressure because that is a ridiculous pass. Not a run you typically need to cover tightly. Van Persie’s made a high risk, high reward run. He collected a line drive in stride with absolute perfection. Perhaps he just made it look too easy.

I love the call. “Goal Van Percy now lets kill the Moose and Squirrel”

despite being their top record scorer and captain, many dutch fans feel letdown by him. he’s just not as great for the NT as he is for his club. in fact he has only scored like 2 world cup goals despite playing in 2 world cups.

Not too many of the must see goals I watch more than once, this one I certainly did. Incredible pass and even better finish. Crazy control.

I can’t cheer for him since he left Arsenal, but I will give credit where credit is due … Nice pass!
