Vincent Enyeama’s performance was overshadowed for 92 minutes on Saturday night.

Peter Odemwingie scored his first goal for Nigeria since 2010, Emmanuel Emenike had the assist and was dangerous in the attacking third all night, and Asmir Begovic kept Bosnia and Herzegovina in the match with eight huge saves.

Enyeama had seven saves for Nigeria, none more important than the last.

Trailing 1-0 in the 93rd minute, Bosnia’s Edin Dzeko turned his defender in the box and looked certain to score. He fired his effort straight down the middle. Enyeama dove to Dzeko’s left, but his trailing foot kicked the ball away from the goal line. It bounced up and hit off the post.

Nigeria held on to win the match 1-0, ending Bosnia’s hopes of moving on in the World Cup. For his heroic effort in the goal, Enyeama earns the SBI Man of the Match award. Enyeama earned the honors over Odemwingie and Emenike.
