The upcoming English Premier League season is just 30 days away, and to get you excited, NBC Sports Group has announced their TV listings for the first three months of the season.

Leading off the nine-month marathon is Manchester United and their new manager Louis Van Gaal as they open the season with the early-morning game on NBC Sports Network against Swansea City on August 16. Later in the day, Arsenal will embark on their 2014/2015 campaign with the lunchtime match on NBC against Crystal Palace. The opening weekend also features Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea playing matches on national TV.

Tim Howard’s performances with the U.S. Men’s National Team at the World Cup did not go unnoticed as Everton vs. Arsenal on Aug. 23 has been placed in the lunchtime time-slot and will be shown on NBC across the nation.

Other games to watch in the first three months include Man City vs. Chelsea on Sept. 21 and the “double derby day” on Sept. 27 featuring Liverpool vs. Everton in the morning and Arsenal vs. Tottenham in the afternoon. All three of those matches will be telecast on NBC Sports Network.

More than half of the 130 Premier League games in that span will be on national television, with 68 games taking place on either NBC Sports Network, NBC, or CNBC. The other 62 games will be available through NBC Sports’ overflow package, Premier League Extra Time, to customers who receive NBC Sports Network.

For the second consecutive year, all games will be available to be streamed live via NBC Sports Live Extra on the viewer’s computer, tablet or mobile device. There will also be live pre-and-post-match shows from the NBC Sports studios in Stamford, Conn. as part of the network’s coverage of the Premier League.

Here’s a look at NBC Sports’ EPL TV listings for the first three months of the season:

(NOTE: TBD indicates that there will be one match in that time slot on NBCSN, in some cases one match on mun2, and remaining non-NBCSN games on Premier League Extra Time. Final channel assignments for those matches will be made in the coming weeks.)

  1. thanks for reposting this – been googling “2014-2015 epl us tv schedule” for the last week trying to figure out what I’ll get to watch (I don’t get NBCSN) and it didn’t come up until you reposted it – NBC’s press release still isn’t showing up on that search. anyway, if you find similar schedules for other networks/leagues (champions league, FA cup, etc) I, for one, would really appreciate it if you blogged about it. thanks again!

    • Roy, how hard is it to switch in your area? I ask because I switched to Verizon Fios, but my friend was unable to switch from Time Warner because that is the only cable service offered in his apartment building. They let him get satellite, though, and I know he can access content online with that (even Bein sports).
