The first weekend of Premier League action has already provided plenty of excitement, but the league’s debut still has more to give with one more opening game.

Title hopeful Chelsea will open their Premier League campaign Monday, as Jose Mourinho’s men take a trip to Turf Moor to take on recently promoted Burnley. New signings Diego Costa, Cesc Fabregas and Felipe Luis and a returning Didier Drogba join up with Chelsea against Burnley, who will look to pull off Week 1’s biggest upset in their first Premier League contest since May 2010.

Monday will likely also feature the Barcelona debut of Luis Suarez, as the Catalan club take on Mexican side Club Leon in a friendly. Suarez recently returned to training, but will remain suspended until an October 25 clash with Real Madrid, meaning Monday’s clash will likely be Suarez’s first and last game for Barca until El Classico.

In other action, the German Cup continues into Monday with Dynamo Dresden taking on Schalke 04, while Energie Cottbus clashes with Hamburg SV.
