The UEFA Champions League is back underway with five teams set to book their spots in the tournament’s group stages following Tuesday’s second leg play-off clashes.
The action is highlighted by Portuguese powerhouse Porto, who enter Tuesday with a 1-0 advantage over Ligue 1 side Lille. Porto took care of business in France due to a Héctor Miguel Herrera finish at Stade Pierre-Mauroy, but will now have to defend that lead in the friendly confines of the Estádio do Dragao.
Manchester United will also be in action on Tuesday, as the club’s 2014-15 Capital One Cup campaign begins with a trip to Stadium MK to take on League One side Milton Keynes Dons. The Red Devils enter the match after suffering a disappointing 1-1 draw with Sunderland, but spirits should be high due to the imminent addition of Angel Di Maria.
The CONCACAF Champions League takes center stage at night, with the New York Red Bulls opening their campaign by hosting El Salvador side CD FAS. Club America, meanwhile, take on Guatemala’s Comunicaciones and Costa Rican outfit Deportivo Saprissa battles Real Esteli of Nicaragua.

this is amazing.
A Real Madrid striker….$100M. Watching United lose 4-0 to a 3rd Division side…….Priceless.
BEAUTIFUL man
well done MK DONS
United v. MK Dons…. 0-4.
No, I didn’t type that incorrectly. Unreal.
With each passing day, whatever voodoo Sir Alex practiced to achieve the results he did at Old Trafford becomes more and more impressive.
I hope Maribor can hold on. Don’t want Celtic in the Champions League after that farce of a decision by UEFA to throw out Legia Warsaw.
Yeah… I mean rules are rules. That doesnt mean I jave to like it.
Last time this happened UEFA imposed a fine instead of the ridiculous sanction of kicking a team out of the Champions League. That would’ve been appropriate here.
Wait, Manu losing. Urg, wish I could watch. This is absurd. It can’t be the manager. It’s just not possible.
ream, lichaj starting. hyndman not in the 18.
Hyndman has a slight knock thus not playing.
thanks, was a little worried about him not even being on the bench.
