For the second time in three months, Germany face Argentina in an international match, only this time a World Cup final isn’t on the line.

Germany host Argentina in a friendly match in Dusseldorf, reuniting the two nations for the first time since meeting 52 days ago at the Maracana in Rio de Janeiro, when Germany outlasted Argentina, 1-0, after extra time in a memorable World Cup final. This time around, both teams will be missing key players and will be experimenting with some new ones, as this game represents a look towards the future.

Elsewhere in action on Wednesday, there are more international friendlies taking place, with the U.S. Men’s National Team visiting the Czech Republic and England hosting Norway. In the evening the Copa Centroamerica kicks off as Costa Rica face Nicaragua and Guatemala face El Salvador.

The busy soccer Wednesday wraps up with three MLS games packed with action and storylines. Greg Vanney makes his Toronto FC debut on the road at the Philadelphia Union, Sporting KC look to remain in the Supporters Shield race when they visit the New England Revolution, and a short-handed Chivas USA side travel to Western Conference leading Seattle Sounders to finish up the day’s action.

If you will be watching any of today’s action, please feel free to share your thoughts, opinions and some play-by-play in the comments section below.
