MLS players are letting it be known that they are serious about being ready to strike if CBA talks don’t improve, leaving us to wonder if the 2015 MLS season will start on time.
Episode 188 of The SBI Show takes a closer look at the current CBA talks, including comments made by several players suggesting a strike is a very real possibility.

Re: loving your owner.
In Portland I think most think fairly highly of Paulson. He really cares about the team, and while sometimes his passion is a little misguided, I think most appreciate him compared to other owners in the league.

Re your CBA rant, is the min salary really the stricking point for the Union? I would think that they would be fine with incremental adjustments every 4 years for the min and cap, as they have done.
Sticking point is certainly how players are treated when they are out of contract. Any form of experience based free agency sounds like an improvement over allocation drafts, etc. I would have rather heard about if and how this deal could be brokered.
