Sunday provides the finale to a highly entertaining, controversial 2015 Gold Cup. CONCACAF stalwart Mexico will face off against surprise finalist Jamaica to take home the honors.

After plenty of intrigue in the midweek semifinal matches, expect a tightly contested final in Philadelphia. The winners earn the chance to play the U.S. in October for a spot in the 2017 Confederations Cup in Russia.

The day also promises intrigue in MLS, with the expansion sides facing off at Yankee Stadium on FOX Sports 1 in the afternoon. Later in the evening, Eastern Conference rivals D.C. United and Philadelphia Union face off at RFK. After that match, the Vancouver Whitecaps will host the San Jose Earthquakes.

Liga MX can be found on U.S. television this evening, with Puebla taking on CONCACAF Champions League winners Club America on UniMas.

In friendly action, the New York Red Bulls will follow up a 4-2 victory over Chelsea with a match against Benfica in Harrison, New Jersey.

  1. All things considered this is the best match up possible for the final. Two teams that play ( or try to) fun, attcking football. Last thing I wanted today was panama and their anti-football on the field.
