SBI College Soccer Top 25: Oct. 2 Edition

Don’t look now, but here comes Notre Dame, gaining momentum heading into the heart of its ACC schedule.

The Fighting Irish were the big movers in the latest SBI College Soccer Top 25, climbing into the top 4 on the strength of an impressive 3-1 win against Virginia last weekend.

Akron cracked into the Top 10 after some statement victories against UCSB and Penn State.

Some new faces jumped into the Top 25, including Florida International, which is riding a seven-match winning streak after opening the season with tough losses to North Carolina and Wake Forest. Another Florida school, South Florida, also jumped into the Top 25 after beating UConn last weekend (before falling to surprising Denver).
