Jose Mourinho reportedly only has two games to keep his job.

According to ESPN FC, the Chelsea boss must turn results around in the team’s next two games in order to maintain his role as head coach of the club.

Italian manager Carlo Ancelotti is also reportedly interested in temporarily taking over the position should Mourinho be relieved of his duties before the November international break.

Chelsea currently faces a group stage exit in the UEFA Champions League, but it has a chance to save that campaign against Dynamo Kiev at Stamford Bridge Wednesday.

Meanwhile, an English Premier League meeting against Stoke City Saturday follows, and the Blues have only secured 11 points through 11 games.

Here are some more news and notes:

AC MILAN HANDLES LAZIO IN ROME

Lazio’s perfect home record is no more after AC Milan cruised to a comfortable win at Stadio Olimpico.

Colombian striker Carlos Bacca scored his sixth goal of the season en route to Milan’s 3-1 road win. Before the game, Lazio only conceded once in five home meetings. Andrea Bertolacci and Philippe Mexes added the other two for the visitors, while Ricardo Kishna tallied his second Serie A goal in the waning moments of his side’s loss.

In bad news for Milan, centerback Alex was knocked unconscious in 50th minute.

Milan’s win moves it into sixth on the Italian table, one spot and point ahead of Lazio. The win is crucial for Milan because it keeps Sinisa Mihajlovic’s men on pace with Fiorentina and Inter Milan, who are tied with 24 points.

KONE HAT TRICK EARNS CONTRACT EXTENSION

Forward Arouna Kone only needed to play in Sunday’s decisive win against Sunderland to trigger an extension with Everton, but he took it one step further in order to earn it.

The Ivorian striker scored a hat trick in Everton’s 6-2 win at Goodison Park. His 35th appearance for the team extends his contact another 12 months.

Gerard Deulofeu and Kone gave the Toffees the early advantage, but Jermain Defoe and Steven Fletcher scored for the Black Cats to even the score at two apiece. Two more goals from Kone, a tally from Romelu Lukaku and a Sebastian Coates own goal helped Everton climb into ninth on the English Premier League table.

Sunderland, meanwhile, stays in the relegation zone with six points after 11 games. Southampton easily defeated AFC Bournemouth, 2-0, at St. Mary’s Stadium in Sunday’s only other EPL game.
