While the rest of the world takes a holiday break this weekend, the English Premier League carries on with a full slate of fixtures.

Headlining the Boxing Day action is a matchup pitting Liverpool against league-leading Leicester City. The Foxes are coming off a 3-2 win over Everton last week while the Reds try to recover from a 3-0 loss at the hands of promotion side Watford.

Second-place Arsenal, on the other hand, will visit Southampton after putting up an impressive performance against Manchester City this past Monday. And speaking of City, it will host 19th-place Sunderland in the hopes of keeping pace with the table leaders.

As for Chelsea, which picked up a victory — also its first in four previous tries in the Premier League — after firing former manager Jose Mourinho last week, it will look to keep the momentum going under interim boss Guus Hiddink when it hosts Watford.

Louis van Gaal, meanwhile, will try to avoid becoming the next EPL manager to be sacked when he guides Manchester United into Stoke City.
