  1. He needs to come to the MLS where he can get playing time and play in front of the home fans. He won’t have to deal with anti-American bias, either. All of the World Cup winners have most of their lineup playing at home. We won’t advance as a national team until most of our players are playing in the MLS. I can’t wait until they offer him a monster contract and he ends up stateside.

It doesn’t matter how many stars we have in the MLS we’ll never win a World Cup under Herr Klinsmann. The guy has such an anti-MLS bias it isn’t even funny. I mean seriously no Matt Hedges??? He’s the best CB in our pool. You can’t accomplish much when your coach is so incompetent. My line-ups are way better than his.

  2. Was primarily the 2nd stringers for BvB, but I think that’s a good sign, he wasn’t playing with a bunch of Dortmund II guys. Although a lot of subs in the 2nd half it was a mostly regular lineup for 2Bundesliga Union. Bobby Wood went 67 minutes.

    • I don’t think it’d be out of the question to bring him into camp, and see how he does. I mean, we got CCV there who is close to the same age (although with a body about 6 years older physically). Both I think are at a similar level, talent wise.

Lets see if he can hang.

  3. Love the aggression. Love that he recognized the keeper was out of position. Some of the worst keeping I’ve ever seen, but that’s not CP22’s fault.

  4. Good for him. Hopefully he keeps on this track with his development and gets some regular first team minutes before the spring season if finished.

  5. The aggressiveness of Pulisic attacking defenders is what every young American player need to learn to do in games. I’ve watched Deandre Yedlin with Sunderland a few games ago when he’s on the field. Yedlin was not aggressive at all when he received the ball in the attacking half and just looked timidly to pass the ball to the nearest teammate. That’s not how he drew attention from the scouts during the 2014 WC. No wonder he’s not getting much playing time recently.

    • Paul Arriola of Tijuana is pretty agressive too when he gets the ball. Haven’t seen him play recently but was very impressed with his ability to run at players and get past them with skill. Don’t know if he’s with TJ’s first team now but he was on loan last year.

  6. He’s 17. How many world class players had MLS developed compared to Germany? I think they know what they’re doing. If he were 22-23 and not playing first team then you would have a point.

  7. This is all fine and good. But what if he DOESN’T get first team playing time there. He should go play for MLS where he will be more comfortable.
