After making the move to Milton Keynes Dons last summer, Cody Cropper earned his first English Championship start on Tuesday.

The 23-year-old goalkeeper started and made one save in MK Dons’ 1-1 tie vs. Huddersfield. MK Dons, which had a one-man advantage for most of the second half, conceded a late goal to Nahki Wells.

The U.S. Under-23 Men’s National Team netminder has mainly served as the backup to 30-year-old Englishman David Martin this season. However, Cropper did start for MK Dons in the first and second round of the English League Cup.

MK Dons is currently in the midst of a relegation battle, having only earned 32 points in 33 games. The club is currently safe from the drop zone, though, sitting fourth from the bottom.

What do you think of Cropper’s first start? See him earning mor time for MK Dons this season?
