MLS Ticker: Acosta joins D.C. United, Impact and more

After recently being linked with a move to the nation’s capital, a dynamic 5-foot-3 midfielder is joining D.C. United.

D.C. United officially announced the signing of Argentine midfielder Luciano Acosta on loan from Argentine club Boca Juniors. The 21-year-old was acquired using Targeted Allocation Money, while the New York Red Bulls received a conditional 2017 MLS Draft pick for his rights. (REPORT)

Canadian international and Montreal Impact goalkeeper Maxime Crépeau is reportedly receiving interest from German second-division clubs, including Fortuna Düsseldorf, a club he trained with last year. The 21-year-old’s current contract with the Impact runs until the end of the 2016 season. (REPORT)
