Soccer Sunday: Your Running Commentary

Manchester-United-Chelsea-Getty-Images

Following Saturday’s exciting English Premier League action, Sunday offers a match with more of the same buzz and drama.

Chelsea hosts Manchester United at Stamford Bridge in an important matchup for both sides. The Red Devils are currently on the outside of a UEFA Champions League qualification spot looking in. A win against the struggling Blues would help Man United keep pace with those at the top of the EPL table, but Diego Costa and company could use a win themselves to move comfortably clear from the relegation zone

In Spain, Barcelona and Real Madrid will look to match Atletico Madrid’s success from Saturday by claiming wins of their own against Levante and Granada, respectively.

Utrecht-PSV Eindhoven, Marseille-Paris Saint-Germain, Napoli-Carpi and Pumas UNAM-Pachuca will also keep you entertained throughout the day.

If you will be watching today’s soccer, please feel free to share your thoughts, opinions and some play-by-play in the comments section below.

    • Looked like broken leg to me but criminal injury nonetheless……I too thought this gives Miazga a chance to play with the 1st team and I think we’ll see it play out that way. Feel bad for Kurt, he was just getting into a rhythm but he’s young enough where he can put this behind him and continue to progress. Blow for Les Blues this summer as well smh
