Soccer Wednesday: Your Running Commentary

The start of Olympic qualifying kicks off for the U.S. Women’s National Team on Wednesday, while several of Europe’s top clubs take the field in cup action.

Facing off with Costa Rica, the USWNT is set to begin its Olympic qualifying campaign with the first match-up of the CONCACAF tournament. Mexico also takes on Puerto Rico in the same competition.

Meanwhile, the Mexico men are in action as well as they face Senegal in an international friendly in Miami.

In Europe, Barcelona takes a 7-0 lead to Valencia for the second leg of their Copa del Rey semifinal, while Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain play Bochum and Lyon, respectively.
