  1. Let’s not kid ourselves yedlin had a good game except for getting beat in the air which is definitely not one of his strongest assets. He’s not the tallest at only 5’8.

    • True. N’Doye had just recently subbed on and was terrible in defending the cross. He was crossed over twice which allowed such a good ball to be played in.

Sadly yedlin will get more flak than he deserves. Gotta teach him to just jump into the attacker to disrupt the shot

      • I think that’s spot on. It really is unfortunate because he played really well other than that. His positioning has improved dramatically and he was rarely if ever caught ball watching. His body language after the goal said it all. Just threw his hands up. “Wtf am I supposed to do.” He was tight to Mitrovic but there is no way he was ever going to win that header. He needed to just try and put him off. But then if he fouled and gave up the pk everyone here would be screaming how stupid of a foul it was.

  2. Poor Yedlin. Decided I would check out the last 10 minutes of the the NEW vs. SUN game to see how he was doing. In the span of a few minutes he made a foul throw, played a simple pass directly out of bounds, and then was absolutely dominated in the air for Mitrovic’s tying goal. Yikes.
