The U.S. Under-20 National Team’s run in the 2016 Dallas Cup has come to an end.
The Americans tied Hoffenheim, 3-3, in their final group match of the Dallas Cup on Thursday, eliminating the U.S. from the competition before the knockout stage. Seattle Sounders draftee Victor Mansaray scored in the game, while Jeremy Ebobisse and Aaron Herrera added the two other U.S. goals.
The U.S. was knocked out of the Dallas Cup with a third place finish in the group stage, while Fulham won Bracket A of the Gordon Jago Super Group with five points. The U.S. U-20 team finished with four points only ahead of Hoffenheim. Monterey Rayados advanced in second place because its goal difference was two goals better.
In the first two games of the Dallas Cup, the U.S. collected three points with a win and a loss. The team defeated Monterey Rayados, 1-0, in the first game on Monday, but the Americans lost to Fulham, 2-1, after the English side grabbed a late goal in the 86th minute.
With two goals in the group stage, Jeremy Ebobisse was the top scorer for the U.S. at the Dallas Cup.
Another failure, yet continue with the same losers in charge our teams and federation.

An all-star team without most of its all-stars against teams that play together on a daily basis, not really that surprising.
On the bright side the FC Dallas Academy will take on Everton in the Semis as the top 2nd place group team.
