The LA Galaxy will be without one of their biggest stars for at least one month.

Robbie Keane underwent successful knee surgery on Thursday, but he will be sidelined for four-to-six weeks in order to recover from the injury. The Galaxy captain has scored two goals in three appearances for his club to start the 2016 MLS season.

According to Ireland national team head coach Martin O-Neill, the 35-year-old striker apparently suffered the injury against the San Jose Earthquakes on March 19.

What do you think of Keane’s injury? How will the Galaxy fare without him?

    • Exactly. Galaxy have legit attacking depth that is completely blocked by aging and apathetic “stars” (except Keane). Why even have an academy if you don’t leverage it?
