  1. Cropper with a rough day for MK Dons, gives up a goal in the first minute and gets called for a penalty in the 17th which he conceded, gave up four goals overall. The Dons could have moved within 3 of Rotherham for the last safe spot in the Championship but instead fall 9 pts behind with 5 to play.

  3. Why isn’t Chelsea-Swansea the main match on NBC Sports Network? True, Chelsea isn’t close to the top four this year, but the audience for any Chelsea game has to be bigger than Crystal Palace-Norwich.

    • i know i’d rather watch swansea-chelsea, but neither team really has anything to play for at this point, while norwich (and possibly palace) are fighting for survival.

    • Not a great half for Miazga. Don’t think the goal was all his fault, but I think he could have done better on the header. Also played some sloppy passes that put people in trouble.

It certainly hasn’t been all bad, just shows there is plenty of work to do before he’s ready to be a regular.

      • It was a 2 part problem: (1) the blow coverage on the Gylfi Sigurdsson by another Swansea player and (2) a CB should never head a ball into the center of the penalty area.

  4. Bad luck for Miazga. Not sure anyone could have done better with that header without being a few inches taller.

    • Can’t blame MM at all I think. Fault is with whoever should have been marking Sigurdsson. MM is at full stretch. There’s nothing else that he can possibly do with that cross. He gets everything on it he possibly can. His only options are to put it where he did, to go for a glancing header which is typically an offensive move for obvious reasons and never advisable defensively except as a last resort, or to just let it go, which you can never do as a defender. No, he put it in the only place he could, expecting that his teammates would be marking properly, i think.

      • good call. i noticed that it was a weak clearance in front of goal, but after watching the replay, i’m not sure what else he could’ve done, as you said.

      • Yep,, that was his header that led to the Swansea goal. He and Ivanovic were not gelling. Mistakes happen, but not working with his partner at this level means he has a lot more work to do or can’t perform at this level. I believe it’s the first. He needs time to adjust or develop at this level.
