    • What would really help would be to bring a few friends over that are his age or younger. That and a salary cap that would allow NYCFC to sign five good players for 1 million each instead of 5 million for Lampard or Pirlo.

      • I concur, I see Seba as the trailblazer. Him doing well and getting rich will lead other euro talent to try MLS earlier in their career. In 5 years, with a marginal cap raise there could be a lot of European non superstars in MLS. Our goal should not be to get the biggest stars, but rather to add depth to all teams’ rosters so the median salary is not the same as an accountant (100k-ish)

      • I wish they’d set a DP salary cap so that teams that wanted to go buy multiple quality players for between 700,000 – 1 mil. could instead of only being able to use it on usually overpriced has beens. I think you’d need to increase international roster spots to do that though as well.

    • US down to 10 men after Acosta just walks up to a Korean and smacks him in the face. Korean throws on an act, but it at least according to the grainy video deserved a red.

    • South Korea 2-1 in extra time, just too much to ask of the Americans to play half the match down a man in the heat in Goa for the second time in three days.
