The Copa America rolls on Friday night as Group D begins to sort itself out, while Euro 2016 kicks off with hosts France facing Romania.

Group A play begins for the French as they take on a up-and-coming Romania side at the Stade de France. Romania, currently sitting 22nd in the latest FIFA rankings, will look to stun the hosts before Group A’s other two teams play on Saturday.

Fresh off of their 2-1 win against Chile, Argentina looks to remain unbeaten at Copa America when La Albiceleste faces Panama. Meanwhile, the Chileans seek their first points of the tournament against Bolivia.

  1. Anybody else watching this Argentina-Panama match. I cant help but notice that Panama is up to the typical dirty concacaf tricks. Holding, slapping, bumping, generally out of control rough play thats entirely typical of the concacaf style of play. Except in this game and our match against Costa Rica both refs were having none of it. Just want to see if anyone else is noticing this change in referee attitude?

    • Yes. True. I thought Panama went all out in the first half. They really challenged Argentina but now have nothing left and resorting to late hits and such. Not nearly as bad as we’ve seen, probably because of the ref. Playing in the relatively friendly confines of the US helps too. I even think no one wants to be a hack in front of Messi. As I typed that, Messi got hacked… and scored on the ensuing free kick
