Soccer Saturday: Your Running Commentary

A full slate of matches take place on Saturday, as the Copa America and Euro 2016 continue, and MLS returns for the first time in two weeks.

Eight games will be played today around MLS, as the Eastern Conference-leading Philadelphia Union begins the action against New York City FC. Other top fixtures include Toronto FC hosting LA Galaxy and Real Salt Lake taking on the Portland Timbers.

Copa America will round out the semifinals field on Saturday, as Argentina meets Venezuela, before Mexico and Chile do battle. The U.S. Men’s National Team will get the winner of the first match, while Colombia is waiting in the wings for either Mexico or Chile.

Belgium seeks its first win at Euro 2016 against Ireland, while two Group F matches follow. Iceland will look to build off of their impressive result against Portugal, as they face group leaders Hungary. Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal will take on Austria in the day’s third match.
