It’s quite simple for the U.S. Men’s National Team on Tuesday night; a win or tie will keep their 2016 Copa America Centenario journey alive. On the other hand, a second straight loss would officially eliminate the hosts.
Jurgen Klinsmann opted to remain with the same starting XI that went out in the USMNT’s 2-0 loss to Colombia on Friday night, and that group of players will be tasked with conquering a familiar CONCACAF foe in Costa Rica.
If the U.S.’ starters continue to struggle to make an impact, expect to see Darlington Nagbe and Christian Pulisic again as the first two players off the bench.
Los Ticos will make one change on the night, starting Francisco Calvo over the suspended Kendall Waston. The Vancouver Whitecaps defender was sent off in the dying minutes of Costa Rica’s 0-0 tie against Paraguay.

I think that Dempsey was the MOM. Up your Dempsey haters!
Congratulations USMNT, with a lil help from the ref we made a blow out out of this one. Let’s now focus on beating Paraguay.
4-0 all USA!!! I have never seen USA beat Costa Rica this man. MOTM Jermaine Jones but they’ll give it to Dempsey cause fangirls love him
no it was for sure Jones no question,
So even when Dempsey plays good idiots like you still need to figure out a way to hate. Anyone with eyes knows it was Jones btw
Pot…. Kettle…. Black….
PS- “good” is an adjective. “Well” is an adverb….
Lol el comendante is having a hard time trolling tonight.
lol yeah he is.
Zusi, Wondoloski and Beckerman…..three players that really should not be in a US national team jersey
I think the subs are more telling of who we might see in the starting XI vs Panama than who we are seeing as subs in a match already won.
think you mean Paraguay but yeah so many games in few days, so changes have to be made
Good catch, Jack. Yes I did.
i don’t think we’re going to see changes against Paraguay. we need a result. i can see a change in formation, but i think we’ll see the same XI with some early subs.
Yeah, Zusi scored a nice goal, Beckerman had an excellent emergency clearance, and Wondo helped the ball circulate.
None of them are worthy.
…seriously? There are times when you have to call a moron a moron.
78th minute? It’s time to almost score a few goals: WONDO-TIME!
