After recently announcing the league’s starting XI for this month’s 2016 MLS All-Star Game against Premier League side Arsenal, MLS revealed the rest of the gameday roster for the match.

The league rounded out its 26-player roster on Sunday during halftime of the Montreal Impact’s match against New York City FC. Among the notables named were San Jose Earthquakes striker Chris Wondolowski, New York Red Bulls midfielder Sacha Kljestan and defending Rookie of the Year Cyle Larin.

MLS fans were responsible for naming the first 10 players that will play against Arsenal, while the final starting selection was made through the AT&T/EA SPORTS “More Than a Vote” Challenge. David Villa won the contest after receiving the most votes through FIFA 16.

Why is Pirlo even on this team? He is terrible.

  1. So MLS is going to trot out a 3-4-3 with only two CBs, no defensive midfielder, and Kaka and Pirlo’s broken down legs holding down the middle of the park? This is going to get ugly really fast.
