MLS Ticker: Guardado, D.C. United, Impact and more

While one MLS team is set to face one of Serie A’s biggest clubs next month, a Mexican international continues to be linked to a move to the United States.

Andres Guardado has said he is flattered to have his name thrown into the MLS mix, amid reports that the Mexico midfielder has an offer from Atlanta United FC. Mexican outlet MedioTiempo is reporting the 31-year-old has received a $3 million per year offer from MLS. (REPORT)

D.C. United head coach Ben Olsen says that the club has “some money and we’re looking to spend it”, while adding that fans “can anticipate some additions”. (REPORT)

Montreal Impact head coach Mauro Biello confirmed that the club is in talks with forward Matteo Mancosu, who has featured in both the Serie A and Serie B. (REPORT)

The Impact also confirmed on Tuesday that the Eastern Conference side will meet AS Roma in August at Stade Saputo. (REPORT)

FC Dallas has signed Trinidad & Tobago defender Aubrey David on loan for the remainder of the 2016 season. David joins MLS from Costa Rica side Deportivo Saprissa. (REPORT)
