One of the league’s premier playmakers will miss this weekend’s action due to suspension, while a pair of young prospects have suffered injuries.

The MLS Disciplinary Committee has suspended Ignacio Piatti one game for a foul on Portland Timbers defender Alvas Powell. The Montreal Impact playmaker will miss the team’s next match against New York City FC on Sunday.

Kekuta Manneh is set to undergo surgery after suffering a foot injury against the Colorado Rapids last week. (REPORT)
