Fabian Espindola is in the midst of another productive MLS season, but it appears the Argentinian forward could be on the move to his fourth MLS club.

Goal USA reported on Wednesday that Espindola is being linked with a trade to the Vancouver Whitecaps. As things stand, the report states that it is unclear what the Whitecaps are offering D.C. United in return for the 31-year-old striker.

Espindola is enjoying yet another solid MLS season, having scored four goals in 15 appearances for D.C. United. Most recently, Espindola came on as a late substitute and scored the equalizing goal, leading D.C. United to a 1-1 draw with the Columbus Crew.

In 212 MLS games for D.C. United, the New York Red Bulls and Real Salt Lake, Espindola has scored 64 goals while adding 36 assists.

The Whitecaps, meanwhile, are short a forward following the departure of Octavio Rivero, who joined Chile’s Colo Colo earlier this month. The Whitecaps currently boast Blas Perez and Masato Kudo as the club’s primary forward options, while Kekuta Manneh is sidelined after undergoing surgery.

What do you think of the potential move? How would Espindola fare with the Whitecaps?
