Evening Ticker: Balotelli, Napoli, West Ham and more

The transfer rumor mill is in full effect as we enter the final week of player movement. The maligned Italian striker Mario Balotelli has been linked with several moves this summer, with the latest reportedly coming out of Switzerland. Meanwhile Serie A contenders Napoli are the subject of  several rumored moves for forwards.

FC Sion President Christian Constantin confirmed reports that the Swiss side was in discussions regarding a possible loan move for Italian forward Mario Balotelli. (REPORT)

Juventus have reportedly accepted a bid of €28 million from Napoli for forward Simone Zaza, who would sign a five-year contract worth €3.5m per season. (REPORT)

However, it is also being reported that Napoli have offered forward Manolo Gabbiadini plus €15 million for 28 year old Croatian striker Nikola Kalinic of Fiorentina. (REPORT)

Arsenal are reportedly willing to listen to loan offers, but not permanent transfer offers, for 21 year old right back Calum Chambers. Among teams rumored to be interested are West Brom, Hull, Stoke and Sunderland. (REPORT)

FC Porto reported that defender Maxi Pereira has undergone surgery following his injury after a hard challenge from AS Roma’s Daniele De Rossi. (REPORT)

Sky Sports is reporting that West Ham have opened talks with Chelsea regarding the signing of striker Loic Remy on loan. (REPORT)
