Toronto FC’s biggest star is clicking on all cylinders for the surging Eastern Conference side, while the Seattle Sounders and Portland Timbers each earned key victories as both teams look to make a playoff push. Here’s a closer look at all of the MLS action during Week 22:

New York City FC and the San Jose Earthquakes played to a goalless tie on Friday night at Avaya Stadium. (REPORT)

A late Steve Birnbaum header earned D.C. United a 2-2 tie against the Philadelphia Union. (REPORT)

Sebastian Giovinco continued his hot form over the weekend, as the Italian netted a hat-trick in Toronto FC‘s 4-1 win over the New England Revolution. (REPORT)

The Montreal Impact earned a late point against the Houston Dynamo in their 1-1 following Matteo Mancosu’s second-half finish.. (REPORT)

Marlon Hairston’s goal and an assist gave the Colorado Rapids an important 2-0 bounce-back win against the Vancouver Whitecaps at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park. (REPORT)

A pair of Javier Morales finishes paced Real Salt Lake to a 3-1 win over the Chicago Fire, while goalkeeper Nick Rimando set an MLS record with his 181st win. (REPORT)

The Portland Timbers captured a thrilling 3-0 victory over Sporting KC, after both sides were reduced to 10 players during the first half. (REPORT)

Clint Dempsey’s hat-trick provided the Seattle Sounders with a 3-1 win against Orlando City SC, handing the Lions their first home loss of the season. (REPORT)

Late goals from Mike Magee and Ashley Cole earned the LA Galaxy a 2-2 draw at home against the New York Red Bulls. (REPORT)
